Dr. Shamika Williams is a purposeful and passionate educator with hearty aspirations grounded in effective leadership, management, entrepreneurship, and coaching. With almost 22 years of experience in education, she has an aptitude for recognizing gaps; thus, maximizing opportunities. Her talents and skills have afforded her the opportunity to have a voice in local and national conversations surrounding STE(A)M education, educational policy, teaching and learning, and leadership.
Dr. Williams managerial and leadership experiences include but are not limited to the management of organizational strategic direction, educational programs and initiatives, grants, and personnel, as well as experience in research, reporting, and conducting professional development. It is her goal to work for, and with, institutions and organizations that honor employee efficacy, academic achievement, as well as those that hold diversity, equity, inclusion, and identity at the center of their vision, mission, goals, and values.
In 2022, Dr. Williams established Wholistic ED Consulting, LLC., a budding educational consulting company whose goal is to bridge the gap between educator self-efficacy and 1. professional commitment, 2. inter- and intrapersonal functions of emotions, and 3. student outcomes. Dr. Williams am also the president and founder of Becoming the Whole Woman: Healing, Overcoming, Liberating, Inspiring, Serving, and Mentoring (WHOLISM), Inc., an organization by women and for women with the purpose of promoting intellectual, physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, financial, and social growth.
